Big day in London - 1

Only been in London about 8 hours and already seen a lot!!! Went to Kensington Palace this afternoon and had a proper British tea there. Walked around Hyde Park and the Kensington gardens. Saw the Princess Diana fountain. Back here to get jackets and rest our poor feet and then out again. Walked down to the Thames and saw Big Ben, Parliment, London Eye, and Westminster Abbey all up close. Now it feels like we are actually in London. Seen lots of red phone booths, black taxis, and double decker buses. Tomorrow we plan to tour Westminster, go up in the Eye, and see Buckingham. And conquer the bus system. We haven't tried a public bus system since Hawaii where we failed horribly. We've managed the NYC subway and London tube though so maybe there is hope.

I have way better pictures on the actual cameras. I was probably most excited about seeing the West Door of Westminster. I got up at 4am to watch the royal wedding and even rewatched it last week. That's in part what prompted this whole trip.

I meant to watch that movie before we came but ran out of time. Matt's had to tolerate a little bit of royal info since we've been here...
