Things I Like - November

My monthly round-up of 5 things I'm liking, with a few affiliate links sprinkled in.  Thanks for helping support the blog! =)  See more here!

Most of the shopping I've been doing is either food or Christmas gifts (not that I am opposed to putting either of those on the list, see below), and it's been awhile since I browsed inside a store (...a few weeks ago maybe.  My in-store Target trips have been very rare this year).  But I still came up with a few things!

1) Seasonal Book Basket
I've been thinking for awhile about how I want to store and separate our seasonal books, both ones we own and ones we have from the library (although, I don't have space for a basket large enough to hold all the Christmas books I have checked out right now).  This is my current solution that I think is working.  It's a tiny bit bigger than I need but the first one I bought was waaay too small and since I don't know when I'll next be IN a Target, this I think will work.  I LOVE having them all separated and maybe it makes me want to buy even more seasonal books.  I have really developed a book buying problem for the boys which I am only partially sorry about.

2) Baby Yoda
We started season 2 of The Mandalorian before I canceled our free year of Disney+ (since they were going to start adding it to our cell phone bill and I wanted to manage it myself).  We will start it again at some point, probably before the end of the year for more family movie night options.  Our boys have never seen it but this Baby Yoda was too cute not to buy, Sam is getting one for Christmas (don't tell him) as well as our youngest godson (don't tell him either, and, again, his mom already knows).

3) Friends Thanksgiving episodes
I watch these every year around Thanksgiving and they are just delightful.  I haven't watched Friends in awhile (other than a Halloween episode) and it was so fun to pull up again.  Matt will watch the best two episodes with me (the one with the trifle and the one with Brad Pitt) on Thanksgiving but most of the rest I've been watching, one a day, while I eat my lunch by myself (with Luke at school and Sam napping).  It's been really fun.

4) Carrie Underwood - My Gift
I try to get a few new Christmas songs every year and this is (most of) what I got this year, thanks to those free Amazon credits for choosing slower shipping.  Carrie is one my favorite musical artists and her album is a wonderful mix mostly religious but not completely.  I haven't listened to it a ton yet, only while prepping cookies early, but soon it will be on frequent repeat!

5) Candy Eyeballs
We bought these for some Halloween brownies a few years ago and then had leftovers we used on Christmas cookies.  Then every year since I have purposely bought them for Christmas cookies.  I've used many but have yet to eat any, my boys seem to especially appreciate the frosted cookies with eyeballs on them, so I can't vouch for the taste BUT they are fun.  And I REALLY like that I remembered to buy these weeks before we will be decorating cookies, at least in one area, I am more on top of it than last year!

Those are things I've been liking lately, how about you?
