Things I Like - July

I always enjoy hearing what works for other people and I like sharing things I like, it's part of the reason I have a blog.  I've been doing these monthly posts for 10 years and they also provide a nice little snapshot in my life at a moment in time! See more here!  Some affiliate links may be included!

1) Kohls Crew Neck T-shirts
I put these on my spring/summer shopping list as one of the more major holes in my closet for this season - tops nice enough for a cookout but casual enough for leaning over to talk with kids.  I like crew necks for those occasions.  I got two of them from Kohls and they are just what I was looking for.  I got the navy/beige stripe (which looks very navy/white stripe in person) and vibrant green stripe.  As I write this, they are also on sale for under $6.

2) Milani Eyeshadow Primer
My last one had worn out and I was looking for something that held eye shadow better.  This is what I bought and it has worked great.  Held up through sweaty days, keeping that eye make-up in place.  Did exactly what I needed it to do.

3) 4th of July pinwheels
These are just fun to have in the yard.  I put it out for the 4th and it'll stay out until Labor Day-ish.  We have a spot I can see from the kitchen windows that had flowers in the spring but there is nothing there now, making it a perfect spot for some pinwheels!

4) Italian Ices
These were a purchase by Matt but have been delicious.  I try to be low waste in many choices however, we go through SO MANY of these types of popsicles over the summer.  Like multiple hundred of them.  Most are from Aldi or Target but Matt found a deal on these and it's been fun having a few other flavors to mix in.  The lemon is the best flavor.

5) Dark Chocolate Coconut Popsicles
I had canned coconut milk in my basement for...quite awhile, with the intent of making these popsicles.  Sam finally helped me do that in June and we have been enjoying these regularly every since.  They are a perfect snack for the afternoon slump and I can pretend they are not terribly unhealthy.  I should make more and not let coconut milk linger in my basement for over a year.

What have YOU been liking lately??
